We build remotely

We operate asynchronously as a remote-first company. This allows for deep, focus work lets us hire talent globally.

We work hard

It takes time, focus, and consistent effort to build something exceptional. So, we show up each day with focus, urgency, and a bias for progress.

We stay in sync

Every week, we kick off a new project and wind it down. When we meet to check in, we keep cameras on and skip virtual backgrounds for real connection.

We meet with purpose

We don’t do recurring meetings. But, we collaborate closely through screen recordings and quick pair sessions when helpful.

We keep it simple

There’s a single system for every type of work. This reduces mental overhead and keeps everyone on the same page.

We move fast by sharing real-time updates in Linear. If an issue is unfinished at the end of the day, we post a clear status update.

All internal updates go in a single Slack channel to avoid noise and siloed context. External communication happens over email.

Our interview process

We keep our process simple, fast, and focused.

1. Questionnaire

A quick set of questions to help us get to know you. It’s short, thoughtful, and should only take a few minutes.

2. Interview I

We’ll walk through your experience, how you work, and why you’re excited about Tatem. We’ll also ask a few open-ended questions to understand how you think and solve problems.

3. Interview II

A live technical challenge tailored to your area of expertise. If you’re an engineer, you’ll build a simple app in CodeSandbox. We’re interested in how you approach the problem, make decisions, and communicate along the way.

4. Interview III

A collaborative design session where we’ll tackle a complex, ambiguous problem together. We want to see how you break it down, structure your thinking, and explore solutions.

5. References

We’ll speak with a few references to better understand your past contributions and what it’s like to work with you.

6. Offer

If it’s a match, we move quickly. Most candidates complete the process within two weeks.
