9 Months of Building Tatem

Part 1

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the thousands of you who have signed up for our waitlist. As a small team of four, we’re so energized by the excitement and passion many of you have expressed! We know it’s been a wait, but we’re dedicated to ensuring it’s worth it.

Part 2

We’ve been building for 9 months so far, and now feels like a good time to look back and share what we’ve accomplished. Since development began, we've shipped 52 releases, averaging a new end-to-end feature launch every six days. In that time, we've laid the foundation for our core web application, and in doing so:

  • Designed a UI and UX that feels both familiar and “new”
  • Built a dynamic command menu, powerful text editor, and minimalist compose editor—all designed to be effortlessly intuitive
  • Shipped an updated website to better align with our design system
  • Crafted a highly polished keyboard shortcut experience
  • And so, SO much more... please check out tatem.com/releases if you haven’t already

Part 3

Looking ahead, we only have one thing on our radar: improving the speed and reliability of our application. We've been focused on performance for the past few months, and now have a full roadmap of infrastructure changes that will get us across the finish line. Once complete, we'll expand access, inviting more of you to take an early test drive. We have so much planned after that, but we’ll wait to share more.

Part 4

Stay tuned for more updates as we edge closer to our beta launch, and be sure to check out our releases. As always, we’ll be shipping.

Thanks so much for your early support. We’ll be in touch soon.
