Who You Are

We’re looking for a senior full-stack software engineer with experience owning projects end-to-end. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering, and play a critical role in the development of our product. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, love solving problems with code, are passionate about productivity tools, possess impressive attention to detail, and execute at an A-level. Like us, you value fast, performant, and maintainable software.

You Will

  • Improve product performance and scalability by building new features and refactoring existing code
  • Build and iterate our application's architecture to meaningfully improve speed and responsiveness
  • Work to make every interaction in our product lightning fast (<100ms response time)
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain and improve code quality
  • Operate as an individual contributor alongside a best-in-class software development team

You Have

  • 3+ years of experience with strong React, TypeScript, and Node.js fundamentals
  • Solid understanding of both frontend and backend technologies
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team
  • Previous experience working with email, messaging, or productivity applications is a plus
  • Experience implementing service workers, caching strategies, IndexedDB, and websockets for offline-first applications is a huge plus
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization for local development and deployment
